UNC Beats Miami

I was a North Carolina student at the time, but I was not at this game…because I was in Boston for the Red Sox World Series parade! When I was in Chapel Hill debating whether I should leave or not, I kept thinking that UNC would win. In fact when I decided to fly up to Boston I told my roommate we were gonna beat Miami.
:-)

Apparently, after the game the PA announcer came on and said “Tarheels, please leave the goal-posts inside the stadium”. It was UNC’s first victory over a top five team ever.
