The Battlestar Galactica We Didn't Get

I’m a huge, huge, huge fan of the hit TV show Battlestar Galactica, and for good reason. The show combines awesome space battles, with deeply engaging political and social commentary, as well as having realistic characters that we can easily identify with.

So, when I saw this trailer for Battlestar Galactica: The Second Coming, spearheaded by Richard Hatch, I was quickly relieved they didn’t end up making this remake! This series would have been released in 1999 and honestly does not look bad, but does not necessarily look good either. Let’s just say I’m very, very glad the BSG remake came out when and how it did and wouldn’t change a thing about it.
