Boston Police Superintendent John Daly on "Twittah"
As a born and raised Bostonian, I’m quite ashamed I don’t have a super thick Boston accent like Boston Police Deputy Superintendent John Daly. To my credit, I did live outside Boston for three years from when I was 18 to 21 and credit that time away from home with the loss of my accent. Still, I will always defend that we Bostonians talk the right way and the rest of the USA speaks oddly. We here were before most of you!
This video actually raises a lot of interesting ideas about the future of the Boston Police on Twitter but the accent really gives it the WIN.
So, from now on the communication service Twitter will henceforth be referred to as “Twittah”. That is all.

1[...] The official Boston Police Department’s twitter account. Love what they’re doing with twitter so far and they also have big plans for the future for “twittah”. [...]

2Adam this is great! I too have lost some of my accent since living out here in California where they pronounce every single letter. Mr. Daly’s accent is exactly what made this video worth watching. 5 stars my friend. That is all.

3I’m glad you enjoyed it Matt. I’m now constantly referring to Twitter as “Twittah”. We speak correctly, the rest of the country speaks incorrectly!
