Dropkick Murphys play Boys on the Dock live
Sean P Aune’s recent post about finally getting to go see a concert, and being especially pumped that it’s The Dropkick Murphys encouraged me to post my favorite Dropkick song. Sean posted a clip of Dropkick playing The Dirty Glass live as one of his favorite songs, and though it’s a good song it’s not my personal favorite. That distinction goes to Boys on the Dock, which is an even more amazing song live.
This clip is from the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) hall here in Dorchester, MA. It takes place the morning after St. Patrick’s day, right before the big parade in Southie so needless to say the crowd is pumped.
On a side note, the IBEW gets tons of bonus points for having a huge windmill on its property. I love that Dorchester has that windmill up and wish we had even more.
